We decided to put together a simple and cost effective solution to any live stream need. We call it Live Crate. With Live Crate we’ve been able to assist houses of worship, musical artists and even schools broadcast their live events and reach audiences they had never imagined possible.
Covid-19 may have brought most of the world to a screeching halt but it couldn’t stop life from happening. In the past, most often or not, the month of June would be filled with the cheers of doting parents and family as they watch a sea of graduating students embark on their next journey in life. However, in the midst of the pandemic large gathering events became an issue that couldn’t be resolved. Even though it looked bleak, we saw a glimmer of light and an opportunity to use the years we had in production experience to offer a service that could bring any live event to the fingertips of anyone with a computer or smartphone. We launched Live Crate in the summer of 2020, working on a smaller scale with a few musical artists and then had the door opened up to an even bigger opportunity with Sweet Home High School. We were asked to pull off something that they thought would be impossible…livestream an entire high school graduation with multiple camera views and full audio support. This was it! This was exactly why we started Live Crate. We love to be challenged but even more, we love exceeding our clients expectations. So that's exactly what we set off to do. Within a few days we had a small but highly skilled production team assembled and our Live Crate hardware ready to tackle the graduation. This wasn’t just one static camera and cavernous sounding microphone coming from an iPhone sitting on the front row. We’re talking four distinct high resolution cameras, multi-view production, full audio support, and even drones for additional footage for post production edits. All of this was then streamed on the schools youtube channel and for the first time since the pandemic families were able to watch their students graduate in real time!
